When do commissions start?
Commissions begin the month your referred customer makes their first payment. You're paid monthly on collected net revenue.
What counts as an eligible referral?
A new customer who signs up through your referral link and converts to a paid Sophyx subscription within the 60-day attribution window. Existing customers, house accounts, and fraudulent signups do not qualify.
Do I need to be an agency?
Not at all. Our Affiliate tier is designed for individual creators, advisors, newsletter operators, and community leaders. Agencies and consultants can apply as Growth or Strategic Partners.
How do tier upgrades work?
Tier upgrades are based on your closed-won count, sustained referred MRR, and co-marketing contributions. As you hit each threshold, you automatically unlock higher commission rates and longer payout durations.
What is the 60-day attribution window?
When someone clicks your referral link, they're attributed to you for 60 days. If they sign up and convert to a paid plan within that window, you earn the commission.
What happens if a customer churns or is refunded?
Commissions are calculated on net collected revenue. If a customer churns, your commission for that customer stops. Refunded amounts are excluded from commission calculations.
Can I bid on Sophyx brand terms?
No. Brand bidding on Sophyx-related search terms (e.g. 'Sophyx', 'Sophyx AI') is not permitted. This ensures fair play across all partners.
